Networking Workshop

MBA candidates are often brimming with technical knowledge, but need to build upon their professional communication and networking professional skills. These tools are a major investment for your career and their development is integral to your success and professional growth.

The Networking Workshops will be facilitated by Kevin SJV Walsh. Kevin brings over fifteen years of group training and motivational speaking experience to his role as a consultant for Destination: Change. He currently oversees the creative process of designing and delivering customized workshops, seminars and keynote speeches for a variety of organizations including The Walt Disney Company, The LA County Department of Health Services, Freddie Mac, Cartoon Network, American Express, Washington Mutual Bank and many others.

Last year, Kevin received a Certificate of Commendation from The City of Los Angeles for his work as an International Human Rights Consortium Delegate at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. While in Switzerland in 2005, Kevin worked with international group leaders on enhancing interventions for human rights talks.

Kevin has held positions on the Advisory Board for Action Without Borders/Idealist.Org, Loyola Marymount University Career Development and MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity). He is on the Board of Directors for Undershare and U.S. Doctors for Africa. At U.S. Docs, Kevin also acts as the Director of Training and Development, serving as an international liaison and media spokesman for the first HIV/AIDS organization solely focused on Africa.

Kevin SJV Walsh is a proud graduate of Syracuse University with a B.S. in Speech Communication. He believes the world can be a better place. His life and actions inform this belief every step of the way. Through his infectious enthusiasm, his unwavering optimism and his unyielding focus, he goes about shaping that better world - one relationship at a time.
