LGBT Student Leader Roundtable
The LGBT Student Leader Roundtable provides a forum for Reaching Out conference attendees to meet and interact with other student leaders, faculty and administrators from across the country. Share ideas and best practices on how to raise LGBT visibility and awareness on campus, how to establish and grow your LGBT MBA student organization and how to leverage your group to help your school reach out to future LGBT business school candidates.
The Roundtable will be facilitated by Steve Salbu. Steve is Dean, Georgia Institute of Technology College of Management. He has also taught extensively at international business schools and law schools.
Professor Salbu holds a B.A. from Hofstra University (psychology); an M.A. from Dartmouth College (liberal studies); a J.D. from the College of William and Mary; and an M.A. and Ph.D. (organization and strategy) from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
He is past Editor-in-Chief of the American Business Law Journal, and is currently on the Editorial Board of Business Ethics Quarterly. His research interests include cyberlaw, bribery and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, contract law, joint ventures, FDA regulation, and insider trading.
Professor Salbu has acted as a business consultant since the 1980s, and has worked with many clients in a variety of areas, including business ethics, strategy, regulatory issues, medical ethics, and FDA regulatory policy. At the University of Texas, he teaches courses in Business Ethics, Cyberlaw, Corporation Law, and Legal Environment of Business.
