Scholarship

• Three (3) scholarships of $2500 each.
• Award of this scholarship infers no promise of employment by DaimlerChrysler, nor obliges applicants to apply to or become employed by DaimlerChrysler.

Eligibility

• United States Citizen or qualified to work in the United States full-time
• Current lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) student of a two-year graduate business school program
• Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or above *

* Winners may be required to submit proof of Undergraduate GPA

Application

• Completed DaimlerChrysler Fund Reaching Out MBA Scholarship Application Form (see below)
• Essay: "The impact of LGBT leaders in the workplace" (400 word limit) *

* Essays must be uncollaborated, original work of the applicant. No paper that has been previously published in any form will be considered; however, papers written for scholarly classes will be allowed provided they have not been published.

The Judges

• All applications will be judged by a panel of business school faculty and / or business professionals, and the decision of the judges is final.
• Essays will be judged on delivery, persuasiveness and originality.
• Scholarships may not be awarded if the panel determines that no entry meets the standards of a winning application.

Applications must be submitted via email to scholarship@reachingoutmba.org in a Microsoft Word document. Papers transmitted or sent in any other form will not be considered.
