LGBTQ MBA Clubs Do Love!

Valentine’s Day and the encompassing week it falls on is well known by many schools as Love Is Love Week. Importantly, the message embedded in the title is that all forms of love should be celebrated regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, nationality, or religion. We’ve highlighted some of our LGBT MBA Club Affiliates and the events they held throughout the week to spread positivity and love on campus.

The HBS LGBTQSA held #LoveAtHBS, during which the club handed out free red roses and unveiled a new portrait project which highlighted the diverse expressions of love at Harvard.
Cluster Q organized a candygram sale for students and faculty to help them spread the love throughout campus. They also took over the weekly CBS Rugby Happy Hour and hosted the Rainbow Rugby Happy Hour.
Fuqua Pride held an ally pledge sign-up, displayed and encouraged people to add their post-it note thoughts to their Love is Love Wall, and coordinated their historically popular bar crawl which celebrates LGBTQ rights.
‚ÄčOut For Business at Ross put on their annual charity Drag Show called MBgAy and donated the proceeds to the Trevor Project, the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ youth.
It is because of events like this that Valentine’s Day can be celebrated and appreciated as a community and not just as a holiday for couples.
