The second Reaching Out: Brazil Summit (May 14, 2016 in São Paulo) will give lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students & young professionals in Brazil and surrounding countries the opportunity to discover the value and importance of being out as an LGBT person in the workplace, form connections with their peers, be inspired by professional LGBT attendees who will share their own experiences and learn about career opportunities with top-tier employers in consulting, finance, technology and marketing, which are looking to recruit LGBT talent.
In 2015 Reaching Out: Brazil saw almost 200 LGBT students and young professionals come together for a day of content, networking and recruiting. Reaching Out: Brazil is being organized by Reaching Out, along with top companies such as McKinsey & Co, Goldman Sachs & JP Morgan and student volunteers from Brazil.
Registration for the Reaching OUT: Brazil Summit is free for current lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students and a limited number of young professionals. It will open in late February.
Plenary Panel: Being an Out Young Professional
Mid-career LGBT professionals from firms including McKinsey & Co, Facebook, JP Morgan and more will discuss their experiences being out in the workplace and why they feel it is important.

Company Networking Lunch
Attendees will have the opportuinty to network with professionals in lunch groups and ask them questions about their company, being an out LGBT professional, and advice for starting their careers.
Industry Breakout Panels
The group will break out into discussion groups focused on Finance, Technology, Management Consulting or Engaging Your LGBT Peers in a Company.
Keynote Conversation: A Closer Look at the Exame's "Chefe, sou gay"
Ricardo Yuki (Senior Risk Manager, Citi Brazil) will give opening remarks about being a senior LGBT leader. Then reporter Lucas Rossi will moderate a panel feauring interviewees from the "Chefe, sou gay" cover story including Ricardo Yuki, Ezra Geld, Reinaldo Bulgarelli and others.
Company Career Fair
Students and young professionals will have the opportuinty to speak directly with sponsoring companies looking to recruiting entry LGBT talent in Brazil.
