Photography & Business Competition for LGBT Students

Posted by / in LGBTQ BUSINESS STUDENT BLOG / No comments yet

Morgan Stanley has a new contest that involves using photography to tell business stories – and we love it!  The firm seeks entries from students across the globe and will reward winners with prizes including Apple Watches and more.

Entries MUST be received by February 21st to be eligible.  We’re sure some of LGBT MBA Club Affiliates could come up with some amazing entries!

Morgan Stanley’s “Capital Creates Change” global campaign highlights our Firm’s commitment to helping clients steer capital to advance ideas and to create positive change in the world.

For this year’s photo competition, we want to challenge you to capture images that build upon the “Capital Creates Change’ theme. Go on! Be creative! Shine the spotlight on how you would interpret capital creates meaningful change in the world.

Reaching Out MBA (Reaching Out) has a nearly 20-year history of supporting the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer MBA and graduate business school students.  Through a year-round series of programming, with the annual ROMBA Conference as the cornerstone, Reaching Out strives to Educate, Inspire and Connect emerging leaders in the business world.

Our ROMBA Conference, held each fall in a major US city, has grown to include over 1,400 individuals – including LGBT MBA and graduate business school students, LGBT pre-MBA students, human resources and diversity professionals from nearly 100 corporations, universities and non-profits and, ERG members from various organizations, and active allies in the fight for LGBT equality.  Reaching Out also creates and supports a growing variety of programs and events on a year-round basis to ensure that our networks of students and employers continue to collaborate and find new ways of interaction moving forward.  These include the LGBT MBA Student Treks, Reaching Out Brazil, Queer Women in Business and the Reaching Out LGBT MBA Fellowship program currently at 17 business schools throughout the US.
