Combating Implicit Bias in Healthcare/Mental Health

According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, “LGBTQ individuals are almost 3 times more likely than others to experience a mental health condition such as major depression or generalized anxiety disorder.” Come join a candid discussion on how companies are utilizing creative strategies to positively impact mental health wellness on the individual, institutional, and systemic levels. The discussion will highlight the importance of these initiatives through the lens of not only LGBTQ employees but also investors.

Finding Meaning in the Workplace

McKinsey believes employees perform at their best when their passion and their skills are aligned. In other words, meaningful work motivates and inspires us. But finding that meaning can be difficult. Banking and Financial Services has historically been known for its conservative culture. Fortunately, this industry has made great strides in LGBTQ diversity in the past few decades.
