The LGBTQ MBA Consulting Project is a partnership between Reaching Out, PwC Strategy&, and admitted students.
The LGBTQ MBACP is an approximately six week program during the months of June and July in which admitted LGBTQ MBA students will be put together on a cross-school team with 4-6 peers to work with a non-profit in NYC or Los Angeles. A Project Leader and a Partner from PwC Strategy& will be assigned to each team to work on a strategic issue that a local non-profit is facing.
Participating in the LGBTQ MBACP is a great way for students interested in management consulting careers to get a better understanding of what the work entails through client engagement.
Participants should be prepared to participate in two weekly hour-long group calls with individual project work assigned between calls. We anticipate that projects will start the first week of June and conclude by late-July.
The teamwork is largely done virtually (by phone/email), but there may be an opportunity for an in-person strategy session depending on team member locations.
Participation in the program will be selective and applications will be reviewed by Reaching Out staff and PwC Strategy&
to ensure that a mix of schools, background and interests are incorporated in each team.
Priority deadline for applying is April 30, 2019 with a secondary consideration deadline of May 12th, 2019.
