Meet Our 2019 Cohort of Fellows: David Atia

Columbia Business School

I was born in Toronto, Canada and completed my undergraduate studies at McGill University in Montreal. I then decided to get my J.D. at the University of Toronto, and eventually moved to New York City to practice law. After practicing for roughly four years, I decided to apply to business school in order to help me transition my career into the luxury/fashion retail space.

What made you consider business school?

Who are some leaders (in the LGBTQ community, in business, or in society) that most inspire you?

Barack and Michelle Obama, Tim Cook, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

What's one thing everyone should know about you?
